Participating in the ICPD30 Global Dialogues in Benin marked a significant milestone in my journey as a youth advocate and professional. It was my first time traveling abroad and attending a global conference, and the experience was nothing short of transformative. As I boarded the plane to Benin, a wave of excitement and anticipation washed over me. This was more than just a trip; it was an opportunity to represent Somali youth on a global stage and to contribute to discussions that could shape the future for young people around the world. My journey to the ICPD30 Global Dialogues was fueled by a passion to address the challenges facing my country and to bring our unique perspectives to the forefront of global conversations. I selected this program because there was opportunity in the online business world in Somalia.
